We are pleased to announce that as of November 1st, Bastiaan Bijl joins the team as Business Development Manager. At Single Cell Discoveries, Bastiaan is responsible for discovering new markets for our single cell sequencing services and help customers in need of our services get in touch.
Bastiaan has a BSc degree in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc degree in Science and Business Management. Previously, he worked as a consultant at Accenture (Amsterdam) and as a Sales and Marketing Manager for Cergentis (Utrecht).

From his previous position, Bastiaan has substantial experience in working with pharmaceutical companies, which is something he hopes to be able to do again: “At my previous position, I have been able to work with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Given the fact that Single Cell Discoveries offers a one-stop-shop for single cell sequence analyses, I expect that our solutions can be relevant to this client type as well.”
