Florin has joined the data team as a Data Intern. He will be working on the SCD pipelines, helping develop them while analyzing the results and evaluating the performance of the pipelines.
Florin is originally from Romania but lived most of his life in Montreal, Canada. He did a bachelor’s in Physics with a minor in Computer Science. After that, Florin moved to Amsterdam to start his master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology, a joint degree from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. He is in his second year and will be doing a thesis project at Single Cell Discoveries.
In his free time, Florin enjoys reading non-fiction. He also likes to go to the gym every day and relax in the evening. His inner nerd is triggered by video games.
