Upcoming events

Meet us at the NextGen Omics & Spatial Biology US 2025 in Boston from March 27-28. We will be presenting our novel sequencing services and you can also find us at booth #25!
You can also find us at the following presentations:
March 27, 12:25 – 12:50, Conference Room 4: Emerging single cell technologies
Single-cell and high-throughput RNA-seq tools to find better targets and accelerate drug development
By Mauro Muraro, CEO of Single Cell Discoveries
In this presentation, you will learn:
✅How single-cell sequencing improves speed and precision in target discovery
✅How our Discovery-seq platform integrates single-cell methods, high-throughput screening, and bulk RNA sequencing
✅How robust data analysis accelerates target identification and mechanism of action (MoA) studies for efficient drug development
March 28, 14:15 – 14:40, Conference Room 3: Applications of single cell technologies
(Sponsored by Beckman Coulter) Scaling High-throughput Single-cell Transcriptomics Through Automation
By Oriol Llorà Batlle, Team Lead R&D at Single Cell Discoveries
Past events
Single Cell Discoveries will be at the 2025 Festival of Genomics, celebrating its 10th year. Visit us at Booth 115 to explore all our services with our experts. We will also present a Live Lounge: Single-Cell and High-Throughput RNA-seq Tools to Find Better Targets and Accelerate Drug Development on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM (GMT).
In this live lounge, Mauro Muraro, CEO of Single Cell Discoveries, will be discussing:
- Bottlenecks in Drug Discovery: Challenges include identifying effective targets and optimizing leads, with traditional methods being time-consuming and often inaccurate.
- Single-Cell Sequencing: Our custom approach to single-cell sequencing offers deep insights into cellular heterogeneity and cell type-specific expression, improving the speed and precision of target discovery.
- Discovery-seq: Our new platform uses a single-cell methodology for high-throughput screening with Bulk RNA sequencing, supported by robust data analysis to find better targets and elucidate MoA.
On the same day, we will also discuss high-throughput single-cell CRISPR screening during Scale Bio’s Single-Cell & Spatial Stage session entitled, “Scaling Single-Cell Transcriptomics and Epigenetics” from 12:10 PM to 12:40 PM (GMT).
Lunch & Learn: New developments and applications for single-cell sequencing
Join us for an exciting and informative talk on the latest advancements in single-cell sequencing! This rapidly evolving technology sees new methods emerging every week, making it challenging to keep up with each approach’s pros, cons, and best use cases.
Dylan Mooijman, the Head of R&D at Single Cell Discoveries, a leading single-cell sequencing CRO, brings hands-on experience with the newest single-cell sequencing techniques. He will provide a comprehensive review of current and upcoming methods, helping you navigate this dynamic field.
This talk will be held in room 01w08 at the O2 Building (De Boelelaan 1108, Amsterdam 1081 HZ). Lunch will be provided at this event.
About the speaker
Dylan Mooijman, PhD, leads the research and development team responsible for developing new technologies and improving current methods.
He brings more than 10 years of experience with single-cell technologies to the team, which he gained as a postdoc and HFSP fellow at EMBL Heidelberg (Ephrussi lab) and PhD student in the Van Oudenaarden lab (Hubrecht Institute).
Join us at the ELRIG Drug Discovery Forum Paris – Single Cell Genomics. Whether you’re involved in early drug discovery research or translating your promising therapy to the clinic, you’ll be sure to discover something that can help you at this year’s event.
